After months of practices, the Martial House Stars have finally made their performance debut on 21 November 2014, at Monkey Goes West, a production by Wild Rice! The Stars involved were: 1. Ng Yu Shinn 11. Benjamin Ong 12. Isaac Peh 13. He took the roles of Movement Coach, Fight Choreographer & Dance Captain in the production. 
Martial House Coach Reann was among those who caught the first show and she commented: “It was a wild, adventurous and inspiring performance! I love how the traditional Chinese story blend in with a modern touch!”

Martial House’s Chingay Journey Begins!
On 1 November 2014, Martial House Coaches, led by the contingent’s Assistant Choreographer & Chief Coordinator Wan GuangYao Eric, conducted the first mass practice session for Chingay at Beatty Secondary School!

Reann @ Singapore JewelFest 2014
On 21 October 2014, Martial House Coach, Leo Rui Yan (Reann), had a performance at the Singapore JewelFest 2014. 
The event was held at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza where rare gems and fine jewels by Asian designers were showcased. 
Reann was involved in the runway show which she performed a solo act as the opening segment. The performance was not the usual Wushu performance as Reann had to incorporate elements of contemporary dance to her act. 
However, that was not the challenging part. It was the close distance between the audiences and the runway, as shown above, which made Reann nervous because she had to consider their safety as a sword display was part of her act. 
At the back stage, Reann kept running her routine in her mind as she was worried about the safety of the audiences. Nonetheless, Reann managed to deliver an awe-inspiring performance! 
“This performance is definitely different from the usual Wushu performances that I have performed before. I would say this is something fresh and interesting. I am really glad to be given the opportunity to do something like this.”

Martial House Stars @ Community Sports Night 2014
Earlier tonight, 10 Martial House Stars were in action at the Community Sports Night 2014! This was the night when sports heroes unite to recognise the hardwork and contributions by the 31 Community Sports Clubs. The theme for the night was superheroes and thus, all the guests for the event dressed up as superheroes! Guess who Coach Kevan managed to take a picture with? 
It was indeed an action packed night and Martial House would like to thank the organisers for having us to be part of such a fun and significant event!

Martial House @ NDP 2014
After months of training, all the time, effort and commitment of the Martial House participants were finally paid off during the National Day Parade (NDP) 2014!
Martial House and the National Cadet Corps were involved in “Act 4 – Be It!” of NDP which required the participants to form the Lion Head symbol at the end of the performance act. It was definitely a challenging task and the execution would not be possible without the planning and coordination of our talented and capable choreographers, Gordon Choy & Wan GuangYao Eric!
The lion head symbolises courage, strength and excellence, as well as resilience in the face of challenges. These are the values Martial House aims to instill in students.

Greenridge Primary School Wushu Team on TV!
A short Wushu demonstration by students from Greenridge Primary School Wushu Team was aired on national television! After 3 weeks of intensive voting, Martial House Stars, Nigel & Neville topped the popularity chart with more than 1,300 ‘likes’! They went on to impress the judges with their astonishing martial arts performance and crowned Champions for the Bukit Timah Plaza Talent Show 2014! Martial House Coach, Shun Long was also awarded the Third Prize!
Congratulations to the twins, Nigel & Neville, as well as Coach Shun Long on their achievements! Martial House is proud of you!
