Ushering in the Year of Monkey with Avnet – IBM – Lenovo (2 February 2016) IMG_0550 On 2 February 2016, Martial House was invited to perform in a corporate event “Ushering in the Year of Monkey with Avnet – IBM – Lenovo”. Following, the students were introduced to the Chinese traditional and cultural art of Wushu and Lion Dance through an interactive hands-on session facilitated by the ambassadors. Lion Dance Cai Qing @ Comms Square Creative Pte Ltd (10 February 2016) The Lion Dance troupe from Martial House was invited to the office of Comms Square Creative Pte Ltd for a Cai Qing performance. dc56fe0c526890bab4b482d54c94601c “Cai Qing” (a.k.a. “plucking the greens”) is a homonym for “wealth and fortune” whereby the lion(s) will dance to approach to “eat” and then “spit” the green vegetables and oranges. Performances by the Martial House Stars!

As Chinese New Year is just around the corner, Martial House Stars have been invited to perform at various shopping malls and corporate events across Singapore to hype up the festive mood! 1. The self-defence demonstration was conducted under the close supervision of the performers. Safety was ensured and no one was hurt throughout the demonstration. 3. On 16 January 2016, the Martial House Stars have successfully kickstart the performance series for the upcoming Chinese New Year! Martial House @ SAIS CNY 2015!

It was a fun and enjoyable morning at Stamford American International School as students, parents and teachers celebrated the Chinese New Year with Martial House! IMG_1180 There was a series of exciting performances ranging from Diabolo to Dragon Dance! IMG_1175 The thrilling Diabolo performance was performed by Coach Soon Long and his friend, Willis! The unique feature about the performance is that the diabolos were illuminated! IMG_1173 Following, it was the action-packed Wushu performance by: 1. Jessen Tan 2. Kingston Chua 3. Lim En Chang 4. Performance @ ANZ CNY Event

ImageEarlier this afternoon, our team of Martial House Wushu Stars delivered an exciting performance for the staffs of ANZ Bank during their Chinese New Year Luncheon Event! This performance also featured our young star, Damien Teo, otherwise known as “一万” (or “ten thousand”) in the Sheng Siong Show which is aired every Saturday, 9.00pm at MediaCorp Channel 8.

CNY @ Istana Open House 2014
