The young stars of Martial House have been featured on various media outlets once again! Firstly, Star Award winner Damien Teo Zhi Hao was featured on today’s edition of Lianhe Zaobao. In the article, Damien was named one of the most promising young talents in Singapore’s entertainment industry. The article further discusses about the longevity of these young talents in the industry. 
Secondly, Damien’s fellow school and Wushu team mate, Koh Hao Xuan was featured on a MediaCorp Channel U television “World This Week” on 5 June 2015. In the programme, Hao Xuan was interview for his aerial performance during the 28th SEA Games 2015 Opening Ceremony. Click here to watch the video.

Day 3 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition
Yesterday was the last day of the 28th SEA Games Wushu competition and the athletes from Team Singapore have performed outstandingly well by attaining a total of 2 Gold & 2 Silver medals! The medallists for day 3 are: Women’s Optional Taijijian Valerie Wee Ling En – Silver Men’s Optional Taijiquan Lee Tze Yuan – Gold Men’s Compulsory Taijiquan Samuel Tan Wei Han – Silver Men’s Duel Event – Barehand Fung Jin Jie, Tan Xiang Tian & Tay Wei Sheng – Gold Clik here to view the results of the competition. 
As such, the Wushu competition of the 28th SEA Games has concluded with Singapore topping the medal standings with a grand total of 6 Gold, 3 Silver & 3 Bronze medals! 
It was definitely an emotional night for all the athletes who have trained hard for the months. It is no wonder that team captain, Lee Tze Yuan teared during the victory ceremony. Once again, congratulations to all athletes! 
Wushu Daze would like to make a special dedication to Team Singapore Wushu athlete, Fung Hui Xin. Just one week before the competition, Hui Xin tore an anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. As such, she could not compete in all four of her events, including the Women’s Duel Event – Weapons, in this SEA Games. Team Singapore has attained 1 Gold & 2 Bronze medals in day 2 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu competition! The medals came from: Women’s Optional Changquan Zoe Mui Wei Ting – Gold Men’s Optional Cudgel Yong Yi Xiang – Bronze Men’s Sanda – 65kg Lin Yiqiang – Bronze

Day 1 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition
Day 1 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition was definitely a fruitful one for Team Singapore as the Wushu athletes have attained a total of 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze medals! 
The medals came from the following athletes: Women’s Compulsory Taijiquan Tan Yan Ning Vera – Gold Ho Lin Yong – Bronze Men’s Optional Changquan Yong Yi Xiang – Gold Men’s Duel Event – Weapons Jesse Adalia Coin, Lee Zhe Xuan & Jowen Lim Si Wei – Gold Women’s Duel Event – Weapons Emily Sin Min Li & Zoe Mui Wei Ting – Silver 
These remarkable achievements have brought Singapore to the top of the medal standings for Wushu after day 1 of the competition.

Martial House & Coach Reann Featured on Henna Gaijin

Henna Gaijin is a YouTube channel that features people who follow their passions and living their dreams. In the episode, Coach Reann shared about her passion for Wushu and what Wushu means to her. Also, Kingston & team did a Qigong demonstration that amazed the host! Martial House would like to thank Henna Gaijin for the feature and for promoting Wushu.

Last night during Star Awards 2015 Show 1, Martial House Star, Damien Teo was awarded the “Young Talent Award” for his outstanding performance in MediaCorp Channel 8 drama, “The Journey: Tumultuous Times”! 
Over the past few years, Damien has grown and made many remarkable achievements. From a cheeky young little boy to becoming a national Wushu champion and now, an award winning actor! 
Damien is definitely a multi-talented young boy who is filled with determination and perseverance to do his best in everything he does. This desirable trait is what Martial House would like to cultivate among students and hope that they would see Damien as a role model. 
Once again, congratulations to Damien! Hope he will continue to work hard so that we can see him more frequently on television! He has indeed done Martial House proud! [Updated] Martial House Stars @ Bukit Timah Plaza Talent Show 2015
On 12 April 2015, the Martial House Qigong team compromising of Kingston Chua, Seow Wei Kai, Wang Chun Hai and Shawn Tan participated in the Grand Final of the Bukit Timah Talent Show 2015! The team of four has stunned the judges and audiences with their jaw-dropping Qigong performance as Kingston bent a cudgel, a spear and a bundle of three metal rods with his throat! Their impressive act, together with the Facebook video “likes” accumulated, have earned them the third prize! 
Here are some words of appreciation by Kingston: “I want to thank everybody who liked and shared the video (on Facebook), especially those who helped me tag every single soul in their friend list because it’s laborious and time-consuming but that helps a lot. Also, thank you to those who came all the way down to Bukit Timah Plaza to support us. Also, I would like thank my partners who for supporting the cudgel, spear and metal rods.
