Reann @ Singapore JewelFest 2014
On 21 October 2014, Martial House Coach, Leo Rui Yan (Reann), had a performance at the Singapore JewelFest 2014. The event was held at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza where rare gems and fine jewels by Asian designers were showcased. Reann was involved in the runway show which she performed a solo act as the opening segment. The performance was not the usual Wushu performance as Reann had to incorporate elements of contemporary dance to her act. However, that was not the challenging part. It was the close distance between the audiences and the runway, as shown above, which made Reann nervous because she had to consider their safety as a sword display was part of her act. At the back stage, Reann kept running her routine in her mind as she was worried about the safety of the audiences. Nonetheless, Reann managed to deliver an awe-inspiring performance! “This performance is definitely different from the usual Wushu performances that I have performed before. I would say this is something fresh and interesting. I am really glad to be given the opportunity to do something like this.” Here is a short video teaser of her performance! Enjoy! https://youtube.com/watch?v=8-eOHZeZcQE
Martial House Year-End Holiday Programmes
As the Year-End Holiday is approaching, the Martial House team has worked hard to put together two holiday programmes specially for our students! Firstly, back by popular demand, it is the Wushu Day Camp! After a successful run earlier in June, the coaches will be working in pairs to deliver 3 sessions of 5-day camp! As usual, coaches will specially customise the camp itinerary for the participants of each respective session so that each individual is able to fully benefit from the camp. Also, the camp size for each session will be kept small which means that there are limited vacancies! Click here to find out more! Secondly, a newly launched programme by the Martial House team, APEX Camp 2014! As the name suggest, the objective of the camp is to allow students to reach the peak of their fullest potential! A 4 Day 4 Night camp that restricts the use of mobile phones but promotes outdoor activities to instill lifelong values such as confidence, teamwork and communication! Click here to find out more! If you have any query, feel free to email to [email protected].
Martial House Stars @ Community Sports Night 2014
Earlier tonight, 10 Martial House Stars were in action at the Community Sports Night 2014! This was the night when sports heroes unite to recognise the hardwork and contributions by the 31 Community Sports Clubs. The theme for the night was superheroes and thus, all the guests for the event dressed up as superheroes! Guess who Coach Kevan managed to take a picture with? It was indeed an action packed night and Martial House would like to thank the organisers for having us to be part of such a fun and significant event!

Look! Who’s Here?!
This morning, students training at Beatty Secondary School were greeted by a surprise guest. She is none other than Noontalk Media artiste, Kimberly Chia! Kimberly joined the students for a session of training and it seems like they really like her company a lot! Hopefully, this will motivate the students to train a little harder!
