The competition events are as follows: A Division (Year of Birth: 1996 – 1998) Free Style Event(s) – Changquan – Broadsword – Sword – Cudgel – Spear – Nanquan – Nandao – Nangun – Taijiquan – Taijijian Timing for Free Style Events not less than 1 minute 20 seconds, except for Taiji Events between 3 to 4 minutes. B Division (Year of Birth: 1999 – 2001) 1st International Routine(s) – Changquan – Broadsword – Sword – Cudgel – Spear – Nanquan – Nandao – Nangun – Taijiquan (42-Style) – Taijijian (42-Style) Timing for 1st International Routines not less than 1 minute 10 seconds, except for Taijiquan between 5 to 6 minutes and Taijijian between 3 to 4 minutes. C Division (Year of Birth: 2002 – 2007) Duan Wei Routine(s) – 3-Duan Changquan – 4-Duan Broadsword – 4-Duan Sword – 4-Duan Cudgel – 4-Duan Spear No time limit for Duan Wei Routines. [Updated] Registration for National Wushu & Sanda Championships 2014
The Singapore Wushu Dragon & Lion Dance Federation is organising the National Wushu & Sanda Championships 2014 this coming August. Note that there is ONLY 5-DUAN CHANGQUAN & 5-DUAN NANQUAN FOR DUAN WEI ROUTINES. [Updated] Sentosa Outing on 28 July 2014!
Martial House will be having a cohesion on 28 July 2014 (Monday) from 10.00am at Sentosa! This cohesion is for all Martial House staffs and students to bond together as one big family! Other than games and activities, we will be having a simple potluck picnic so do bring some food to share! The date of the cohesion has changed because a number of our Martial House Stars are involved in the National Day Parade (NDP) rehearsals on Saturdays. [Updated] Recruitment for Chingay 2015!
Martial House will be involved in the upcoming Chingay 2015, the largest street performance and float parade in Asia! As such, we are recruiting performers! Do note that we are not only recruiting performers from Martial House, but from the entire Wushu community in Singapore too! It is a great platform for people with similar interest and passion for Wushu to unite and form a contingent to deliver a mass display together! The performance by the martial arts contingent would be one of the main highlights of Chingay 2015! Many for asked about the the age requirements to participate in this event. As Chingay is a national event that promotes community involvement, we would like to have participants across varying age groups! There is no age discrimination! Second Gold Medal by Zheng Yan @ SUKMA XVII PERLIS 2014!

Congratulations to Martial House Star, Yap Zheng Yan, for attaining the GOLD medal at the SUKMA XVII PERLIS 2014 for his Daoshu event earlier today! Click here to view the article. [Note that translation may be required.] The Sukma Games, a.k.a. Malaysian Games, is an annual national sports competition whereby top athletes from each state of Malaysia gather to compete. The scale of the competition is similar to the All-China Games in China.
