Martial House Stars @ Victoria School
On 16 March 2015, two Martial House Stars & Team Singapore athletes, Emily Sin & Samuel Tan were invited to attend a sharing session with the Victoria School (VS) Wushu Team! During the one-hour session, both athletes shared their valuable knowledge and experience with the students. Students asked them a variety of questions ranging from Wushu techniques to time management. As the National Inter-School Wushu Championships 2015 is just around the corner, questions pertaining to stress management was popular among students. Hence, the World Wushu Championships medalists shared their own unique ways of calming their nerves. For instance, Emily will drink a cup of coffee before any competition whereas Samuel will always face a blank wall before his turn. Before the session ended, both athletes gave the Victorians final words of encouragement to motivate them to perform to their fullest potential in the upcoming competition! It was indeed a great pleasure to have both Emily & Samuel at VS! Let’s wish both them all the best in the upcoming SEA Games!
