Are you Ready?
The National Inter-School Wushu Championships 2014 is just around the corner!
Teachers and students are reminded to place their orders for Wushu equipment such as costumes, weapons and shoes early to avoid disappointment.
Wushu equipment can be purchased from Yi Fong Sports Equipment Supplier and/or do approach your coaches for advice.
CNY @ Stamford American International School
What an exciting morning it was at Stamford American International School where students celebrated Chinese New Year with Martial House!
Students were entertained by a series of performances which included the Lion & Dragon Dance, Chinese Cultural Dance and LED Wushu Performance!
The God of Fortune and Big Head Doll also made a special appearance to send their blessings to the students for the new year!
Wish you were there to enjoy the festive mood? No worries, there will be a Wushu performance by our Martial House Stars tonight, 6.30pm at Vivocity! Be there to immerse yourself in this festive season!

Meet Martial House’s new coach, SEA Games GOLD medallist, 谢平信! He is a former national Wushu athlete from Malaysia who specialises in 南拳.
1st Saturday Lesson at Beatty Secondary School
Today marks the first day of Saturday lessons at Beatty Secondary School! These are the training time slots available: 8.30am – 10.30am *Mass training suitable for all. 9.30am – 11.30am *Taiji lessons for adults. 10.00 am – 12.00pm *Mass training suitable for all.
Meridian Junior College Open House 2014
On 15 January 2014, the Meridian Wushu Team put up an exciting performance for Meridian Junior College Open House 2014. This year’s performance was slightly unique as alumni were involved in the performance as well. These alumni are: – Timothy Chan – Priscilla Lim – Lim Jia Jun – Leonard Sim – Desmond Choo A big thank you to the alumni for taking time off to perform with the current team! Also, all the best to the current MJC Wushu Team for the upcoming Inter-School Wushu Championships in April!
