Martial House Young Stars Featured on Various Media Outlets

d The young stars of Martial House have been featured on various media outlets once again! Firstly, Star Award winner Damien Teo Zhi Hao was featured on today’s edition of Lianhe Zaobao. In the article, Damien was named one of the most promising young talents in Singapore’s entertainment industry. The article further discusses about the longevity of these young talents in the industry. Day 3 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition

IMG_0716 Yesterday was the last day of the 28th SEA Games Wushu competition and the athletes from Team Singapore have performed outstandingly well by attaining a total of 2 Gold & 2 Silver medals! The medallists for day 3 are: Women’s Optional Taijijian Valerie Wee Ling En – Silver Men’s Optional Taijiquan Lee Tze Yuan – Gold Men’s Compulsory Taijiquan  Samuel Tan Wei Han – Silver Men’s Duel Event – Barehand Fung Jin Jie, Tan Xiang Tian & Tay Wei Sheng – Gold Clik here to view the results of the competition. FullSizeRender (14) As such, the Wushu competition of the 28th SEA Games has concluded with Singapore topping the medal standings with a grand total of 6 Gold, 3 Silver & 3 Bronze medals! IMG_0710 It was definitely an emotional night for all the athletes who have trained hard for the months. It is no wonder that team captain, Lee Tze Yuan teared during the victory ceremony. Once again, congratulations to all athletes! FullSizeRender (16) Wushu Daze would like to make a special dedication to Team Singapore Wushu athlete, Fung Hui Xin. Just one week before the competition, Hui Xin tore an anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. As such, she could not compete in all four of her events, including the Women’s Duel Event – Weapons, in this SEA Games. [Updated] Day 2 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition

Team Singapore has attained 1 Gold & 2 Bronze medals in day 2 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu competition! The medals came from: Women’s Optional Changquan Zoe Mui Wei Ting – Gold Men’s Optional Cudgel Yong Yi Xiang – Bronze Men’s Sanda – 65kg Lin Yiqiang – Bronze Well done and congratulations to the athletes especially the Martial House Stars, Zoe and Yi Xiang for attaining their second medal in the Games! Day 1 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition

Day 1 of the 28th SEA Games Wushu Competition was definitely a fruitful one for Team Singapore as the Wushu athletes have attained a total of 3 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze medals! The medals came from the following athletes: Women’s Compulsory Taijiquan Tan Yan Ning Vera – Gold Ho Lin Yong – Bronze Men’s Optional Changquan Yong Yi Xiang – Gold Men’s Duel Event – Weapons Jesse Adalia Coin, Lee Zhe Xuan & Jowen Lim Si Wei – Gold Women’s Duel Event – Weapons Emily Sin Min Li & Zoe Mui Wei Ting – Silver These remarkable achievements have brought Singapore to the top of the medal standings for Wushu after day 1 of the competition. Congratulations Team Singapore! Hopefully the athletes are able to keep up the momentum to achieve outstanding results for the next two days of the Wushu competition! Along with her fellow team mate, Lee Tze Yuan, both Team Singapore Wushu athletes showcased a short demonstration of their specialised routines. Martial House & Coach Reann Featured on Henna Gaijin

In the episode, Coach Reann shared about her passion for Wushu and what Wushu means to her. Also, Kingston & team did a Qigong demonstration that amazed the host! Martial House would like to thank Henna Gaijin for the feature and for promoting Wushu.

5-Duan Weapon Routines Demonstration Videos

Last night during Star Awards 2015 Show 1, Martial House Star, Damien Teo was awarded the “Young Talent Award” for his outstanding performance in MediaCorp Channel 8 drama, “The Journey: Tumultuous Times”! Over the past few years, Damien has grown and made many remarkable achievements. From a cheeky young little boy to becoming a national Wushu champion and now, an award winning actor! Damien is definitely a multi-talented young boy who is filled with determination and perseverance to do his best in everything he does. This desirable trait is what Martial House would like to cultivate among students and hope that they would see Damien as a role model. Once again, congratulations to Damien! Hope he will continue to work hard so that we can see him more frequently on television! He has indeed done Martial House proud!
